Campaigning for Ivory Destruction in Hong Kong
On January 22, 2014, Astrid represented Annamiticus in Hong Kong, joining a group of over 25 local activists to encourage the Hong Kong government to vote to burn its 33-tonne ivory stockpile.
The event generated considerable media attention, with representatives from local TV stations and the South China Morning Post.
