Field Visit: Hanoi, Vietnam
In November 2012, Rhishja joined Education for Nature-Vietnam (ENV) in Hanoi for a week of wildlife trade monitoring. This included bear farms, traditional Chinese medicine shops, restaurants with illegal wildlife on the menu, and the notorious Bao Son zoo. She also participated in an inspiring public awareness event held by ENV at Hanoi Botanical Garden.
During the field visit, Rhishja presented a half-day (plus two hours the following day) course — “Using Digital and Social Media to Build Connections with an International Audience” — to the Education for Nature-Vietnam Communications Team.
